Smooth jazz saxophonist J.T. Fedrick, grammy award winning vocalist Shirley Murdock, and smooth jazz guitarist extraordinaire Chris Bowman, volunteering their talents at the 4th annual, “A Feast of Giving” dinner, located at the Dayton Convention Center, Thanksgiving Day.

The Urban Nights Summer Concert Series

J.T. Fedrick turn in another awesome performance last night Sept. 10, 2010, as the featured smooth jazz artist for the Urban Nights Summer Concert Series. The SaxGroove Band that he used was comprised of seasoned veteran musicians, along with a captivating vocalist Anita Washington. J.T. received 3 standing ovations, one for his beautiful rendition of Michael Jackson’s, “The lady in My life,” also one for His arrangement of Grover Washington Jr.’s “Mister Magic,” and his smooth jazz version of “Can We talk.” Anita Washington received an ovation also for the beautiful song “At Last.” If you missed this performance, you need to make it a point to catch his next performance when he is close to your city. The man is awesome, you will not be disappointed!

J.T.’s/ SaxGroove rocks The King Arts Complex

Last night, August 20, 2009, J.T.Fedrick/SaxGroove rocked tThe King Arts Complex! From the moment J.T. came onto the stage blowing the late great Michael Jackson's song Heartbreak Hotel on soprano sax, the crowd was in awe. By the fourth song of the show, when songstress Tashia Clay hit the stage the crowd was on "fire" for the group! Tashia embraced the "mic" and began to sing Etta James' song At Last, to no ones surprise in the Complex, received a standing ovation! Derrick Armstrong (bass), also had the crowd going with his  bass solo on the song, Love of My Life. Jesse Partridge, Sam Lucas, Ron Richardson, and Ernie O'rourke were also highly "on point"  on their respective instruments! J.T. Fedrick/Saxgroove received a standing ovation at the nights end! Upon leaving the Complex numerous patron were saying, " They wanted J.T. back in the very near future." If you were not at The King arts Complex last night, you missed out on a fabulous Show!
